How Using Insurance at Evolve Works
Using insurance at Evolve is simple.

- Schedule a complimentary consultation to meet with our founder Liz, learn about how therapy can help you, and get matched with a therapist.
- Then upload a photo of your insurance card, and our billing team will check your benefits.
- You will receive a text message with your benefits information so you can know if you have any costs before your first session.
We take care of the verification process so you can understand your coverage and expected costs before beginning therapy.
How Much Will Therapy Cost With Insurance?
The cost of therapy with insurance depends on your specific plan and benefits. Some clients may have a copay for each session, while others may have a deductible or coinsurance that affects their cost.
Because every insurance plan is different, our billing team will verify your benefits before your first session and let you know what your plan indicates you may be responsible for paying.

How Much Is Therapy Without Insurance?
The cost of trauma therapy without insurance is $220.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment, whether in-person or virtual.
What if Evolve is Out of Network With My Plan?
If your plan isn’t one we accept, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits for therapy. You would pay for your session at the time of service, and we can submit a claim to your insurance on your behalf. You may still be able to work with Evolve if you don’t see your insurance provider listed.
Does Insurance Cover Couples Therapy?
Whether couples therapy is covered depends on your specific plan. Some insurance policies might cover it if it’s considered medically necessary. Feel free to reach out to us, and we can check your plan.
